Hi, I just posted a message to somebody else, which you can read, but I am on thyroid, and did not have such an enormous weight gain and hunger until my throid quit working. You should have your thyroid rechecked every 6 months. Your Dr. must feel that you are on enough dosage or her would recheck it. If he did recheck and tells you this is the dose for you, then it is the dose for you. Too much can have an opposite effect and make it slow down again. Too little of course will not help. Also too much will give you heart palpatations and many other syptoms. If your Dr. is just not listening, then go to another Dr.. Don't put up with a Dr. that is not becoming to your personality. After three Dr's. I finally found a great Dr. that listens.
I have lost 45 pounds and I am on .150, so you can lose the weight, but exercise assists too for weight lose. I was 202 pounds and have lost 45 pounds.......it can be done, you will lose weight even with a bad thyroid. Good Luck! Sally
